We recommend using our Google Forms integration as a way to embed a contact form into your post or page.
1. Go to this link to start creating your Google contact form. Select a template from the template gallery or create your own from scratch. There’s a template called “Contact Information” that already includes all the fields for a standard contact form. You can add or delete sections as you please.
Once you’ve added all the information you want, customize the form with a picture or color by clicking the paint palette in the upper right corner. Here you can choose a pre-made background or upload your own.
Tip: You can edit the settings of the form in the upper right corner. Here you can limit the number of responses and who can submit information. The best option for any contact form is to allow multiple responses.
If you want to get an email for every submission/response, click RESPONSES then the three-dot menu . Here you can choose "Get email notifications for new responses". Alternatively, you can press to view the responses in a Google spreadsheet. You can always view summaries and individual responses in the form itself.
2. To add your contact form to your site, go to the top right corner of the form and click SEND. Go to the link tab and copy the URL provided. Make sure to press COPY in the bottom right corner to ensure that it will embed.
3. Log in to your Verst account. Edit the post or page where you want to embed your contact form, or create a new post or page.
4. Click the BIT in the body of your post where you want to add your contact form. Go to the embed tab and paste your Google Form URL. Wait until the arrow becomes clickable (it will turn black when it is ready). Click it to embed your form.
