Select the icon on the left above from the BIT (+) in your homepage editor to begin adding static images to your homepage.
You can place one, two or four images. Click the add image icon , then either upload an image from your computer or search for one on the web, within Verst. Change a number of images by pressing the + or -. You can add text on top of any of the images by typing where it says “Start telling your story”.
After choosing an image, select the focal point by clicking . This will ensure the image adjusts the way you'd like across all screen sizes! When you change the focal point, you will immediately see the image adjust on your website. Once you are happy with your photo, click Done to finish or Reset to start over.
All of the pictures can also be linked out to a website (or a page/category/post on your own Verst site). Click the link icon and add the URL you wish to link out, then press return on your keyboard. Wait until the arrow becomes clickable. It will turn black when it is ready. Click it to add the link.
Change the format of your image by clicking . This will change it from centered to full screen.
Click to add text alongside your image. The text will appear on the right side of the image. Click the reverse arrows to swap the orientation. Click these options to change the size of the image in relation to the size of the text block.
You can display two images next to each other, or with text to the side. To add text beside the images, click . Click the reverse arrows to swap the orientation of the images with the text.
You can display 4 images in a row horizontally. Add text over each of the pictures by clicking . Alternatively, you can add text below the 4 pictures by choosing .
Make sure you click Save to keep the features you added to your homepage. To delete a feature, click the trash can .
